The Gospel of John is essentially a first century biography, from an eyewitness perspective, of the words and deeds of Jesus of Nazareth. More than the other three gospel writers, John dives deep into the teaching and interactions of Jesus, providing the reader with plenty of information to dissect and digest, all with the stated goal of leading one to trust and believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
