Broadway Church School of Leadership

The Broadway Church School of Leadership is a 6-month journey designed to shape your mind, form your heart, and strengthen your leadership. Together, we will build a biblical foundation for leadership by exploring what Jesus taught about leading others. From there, we will move into emotionally healthy spirituality—a transformative approach to following Jesus that integrates deep spiritual growth with emotional maturity, helping you break unhealthy patterns and become a more authentic disciple. In the winter semester, you will gain practical tools for navigating high-stakes conversations with clarity, confidence, and peace, so you can communicate effectively when it matters most. We will conclude by equipping you with a sustainable framework for life and leadership—helping you avoid burnout, renew your energy, and become the healthiest, most effective leader you can be.

Online Information Sessions: June 17 at 8pm and August 19 at 8pm.

Deadline to Register: September 6, 2026.

Timeline: September 2026-February 2027 (December is off).

Cost: $250 – this includes the four course books (see below) and course material.

Course books: Jesus on Leadership (Wilkes), Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (Scazzero), Crucial Conversations (Patterson), At Your Best (Nieuwhof).

General Requirements: Attend a weekly Broadway Church service, commit to the Volunteer Covenant document, commit to the specific requirements (below).

Specific Requirements:

-Day Retreat: Saturday, September 12 from 9am -5pm.

-Fall Classes: Monday, September 21, 28, October 5, 19, 26, November 2, 9, 16, 23 from 7-8:30pm at the Vancouver Campus.

-Winter Classes: Monday, January 11, 18, 25, February 1, 8, 22, March 1, 8 from 6:30pm-8pm at the Vancouver Campus.

-Bi-weekly online discussion cohort for 1 hour.

-Finish assigned reading and reflections.
