Karen is a medical doctor in ministry with a team of 34 Angolans at Rio da Huila Medical Center, a rural hospital in Angola, which is a strategic outreach to Ovamuila/Nyaneka communities who are being evangelized and discipled. Karen is involved in the medical imaging and diagnostics for this medical center project, and is raising funds for this incredible initiative to help people who live there!

Her days are filled with patient consultations in general medicine, staff and leadership development, discipleship, and evangelism. The medical center is a strategic outreach to the community - health care provides open doors to bring the gospel to hard-to-reach places.Through this medical center, alongside dentistry, sustainable agriculture, nutrition assistance, and maternal-infant preventative care programs, people are making positive changes for their physical well-being are coming to know Jesus as their Savior. Why do we do this?

Because we believe that every person was created to experience and express the purest love imaginable.
Our outreach strategy includes meeting the needs of our world in very practical ways.
Through our Global Outreach Fund, we mobilize our “why” by partnering with indigenous initiatives and university ministries in our province. Internationally, we help build schools, drill freshwater wells, and respond to humanitarian disasters. We also support the personal budgets of people who feel called across the globe to serve in their country of burden. We train and send teams to go out on short-term trips to serve and give back to communities that need ministry teams. All of this is done so that those in our world can experience the purest love imaginable.
